Ideas for Final Poster

These two ideas for a film poster above reflect the protagonist framed pointing the gun towards the camera. The first image contains a black background and blur around the edge of the character as that it the main focus. The greyscale used within the splatter creates an interesting effect as it could suggest blood stains from the victims them protagonist has murdered throughout her career as an assassin. Furthermore, this image from the film reveals the protagonist is the murderer  juxtaposed to the narrative of the story as it is hidden until the end. Although, in order to improve this film poster idea I could contain steeltongs typography to include the distributor, editors, producers and directors (etc) and star ratings as well as logos to make it more appealing towards the audience. On the other hand, the image pictured below is simplier but still unique due to the black and white effect that is used to convey the protagonist is composing her secrets.
My rough poster ideas all contrast to show a creative however, effective and interesting approach to an audience. Each of these images from our final film contain medium close ups, close ups or a tracking shot to portray different techniques within filming. These contrasting effects which I used on photoshop create a sense of mystery and suspense upon the viewer. The last image portrayed uses an effect called emboss to shadow the original picture to create a sophisicated and effective eye catching approach to the audience. Furthermore, the use of the dull colour and blur around certain edges of the image creates a sense of danger and follows conventions of a thriller. As darkness ususally signifies death and captured within this image is a man following the main protagonist.
